Our mission at the Ashby Public School is being committed to providing a well-rounded education in a challenging learning environment that prepares students for success in their local, national, and global communities through opportunities in academics, arts, and leadership activities.

We are a small Pre-K-12 school that offers our students a wide variety of academic opportunities as well as extra and co-curricular activities to choose from.  In the classroom, students receive quality instruction from excellent teachers in areas ranging from the core subjects such as Math and English to elective classes such as Welding, AG, Spanish, Communication/Media Arts, Art, Music,  and Chemistry.  Through Ashby's cooperation with M State - Fergus Falls, an ambitious Ashby student can accumulate 18 college credits before graduating from Ashby High School.

Ashby's

elementary school is staffed with great teachers who demonstrate a genuine care and nurturing for all students.  The small class sizes offer individual attention for all students.  With support from our special education program, Title I program, counselor, paraprofessionals and High Potential program; each student is given the opportunity for a quality education.

Ashby Public School provides preschool programming with play based learning for children from three to five years of age, providing a foundation for lifelong learning.  For the 2017-2018 school year, School Readiness offers three days/week for 4-year olds and one day/week for 3 year olds.  Head Start offers a blended class of 3- and 4-year olds, meeting 4 days/week.  

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) offers daytime classes in the fall, winter & spring for families

with children birth to age 5.  ECFE provides opportunities for parents and young children to grow and learn together and apart in a safe and supportive atmosphere.  ECFE also offers a few evening events throughout the school year.  

Ashby Public School touches each student by maintaining a quality staff, providing students with creative alternatives and maintaining and updating technology.  The school district provides a caring environment conducive to learning.  Each student at Ashby is welcomed into a new and modern facility by a caring and professional staff.
